How to create folders on your smartphone.

How would you like to organize your apps on your phone or tablet? You can with folders. In these simple steps you can make your phone or tablet more organized.

These directions work for both iPhone and Andriod phones and tablets.

  1. Go to your Home screen.
  2. Touch and hold on the app you want to create a folder for until all apps begin to jiggle and you enter Edit mode.
  3. While continuing to hold your finger down on the app, drag it on top of another app you want in the same folder.
  4. If you don't like the automatic name creates for your folder, tap the name field and change it to anything you like, then tap Done.

If your Android Phone is older and the above directions do not work then try these:

  1. Go to your Home Screen.
  2. Touch and hold on the app you want to create a folder for. The screen will change to Edit mode.
  3. While continuing to hold your finger down on the app, drag it to the icon Create Folder at the top.
  4. Type in the name of the folder, then tap OK.

How to answer a call with a text message on your smartphone. This handy feature allows you to quickly respond to an incoming phone call with a preset text message. This is a perfect solution if you're busy in a meeting, classroom, driving, or in any other situation where you can't take a phone call, but the caller is important enough to let them know they'll be contacted as soon as possible. These directions work for both iPhone and Andriod phones and tablets. 1- Make sure set up your automatic reply messages. For iPhone: Open Settings and choose Phone followed by Reply with Message Enter customized text replies of your own or follow Apple's examples, then exit out of Settings when finished For Android: Open Settings and choose Call followed by Set up call rejection messages Enter your customized text reply. 2- Replying to an Inbound Call with a Text Message With the automatic replies set, you'll be able to use the feature the next time a phone call comes in by doing the following: For iPhone: Swipe up on the phone indicator to open a call options menu and tap Reply with Message Select the desired automatic reply to send it as an SMS or iMessage For Android: Swipe up on the Reject call with message Press the Send next to the message you want to send. This is a much better solution than just sending callers to voicemail, ignoring calls, or muting them as they come in.
